Dazzle for Dorie
This is our “Superwoman” who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Colon Cancer almost 1 year ago and unfortunately it has continued to metastasize in her brain and bone. She has had multiple chemotherapy and radiation treatments, among others in this fight for her life. We are hosting a few fundraising events over the next few months. As you can imagine, medical bills become overwhelming and we need your help. All proceeds of these events will help in alleviating some of the financial burdens.

Our "It Takes A Village" Fundraiser Event was a SUCCESS! We were truly
humbled and blessed by the outpouring of love and support we have received! We want to say THANK YOU to
everyone that helped with this event, to everyone that donated to this
event, to everyone that came by just to show their support and most
importantly to everyone who has and continues to pray for our family!
Although we are not able to physically relieve the burdens of our moms
cancer, your support for this event has helped us be able to relieve
some of the financial burdens of it and for that, we are humbly
grateful. We love you!

Our "SUPERWOMAN" is back on her feet...with very little assistance. She is slowly recovering and making new progress every day. We want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has helped, stopped by, called, donated and especially who have prayed for Dorie and our family during this difficult time. Please continue those prayers because they are truly being answered!

Update: Dorie got a severe infection in her port on Saturday. She became septic and had to have emergency surgery on Sunday morning. Due to the stress of the past six weeks, her body is in overload and she started having trouble with her heart today. She was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit at Brookwood today. Please keep her and our family in your prayers!!!
